Mechanical Power Press Inspections
Both the OSHA 29CFR§1910.217 Mechanical Power Press regulation and the ANSI B11.1-2009 Safety Requirement for Mechanical Power Presses standards require a program of periodic and regular inspection.
Stop Time Checks
Stop time check aren’t only used to determine the original distance/location of safeguarding devices. These checks must be made periodically to ensure that with time and use, the current safety distance and safeguards are keeping with the machine’s current stopping ability.
