Confined Space Training

Both OSHA regulations and ANSI/ASSE Z117.1-2009 Safety Requirements for Confined Spaces require employee training for all workers who work at permit required confined spaces. This training must address the Authorized Entrant, the Attendant and Entry Supervisor and ensure that the employees have acquired the understanding, knowledge and skills necessary to safely perform their jobs.

Confined Space Worker Training
(initial or refresher)

Allied safety professionals work with your staff, supervisors and management to:

  • Design a safety training program that is specific to your policies/procedures, confined spaces, equipment utilized and that will be compliant with regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop a participant job skill & knowledge assessment methodology (written and practical) to ensure that Authorized Entrants, Attendants and Entry Supervisors have the understanding, knowledge, and skills necessary to perform their jobs in a safe manner.
  • Provide certification of the training and assessments.

Confined Space: In-House Rescue Training
(initial or refresher)

Allied safety professionals work with your staff and your procedures to:

  • Design an in-house rescue training program that is specific to your policies/procedures, your confined spaces, the rescue equipment utilized by your company, the hazards associated with rescues and that will be compliant with regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop a rescuer job skill assessment (written and practical exams) to ensure that the rescuers have a complete and thorough understanding and knowledge of the confined space rescue techniques, and can demonstrate the skills necessary to perform rescues in a prompt, safe manner.
  • Provide certification of the training and assessments.
